Quality Engineer
* Drive a culture of process control and variability reduction throughout our entire company, which involves the opportunity for exposure at each of our sites. * Lead Process Improvement teams using Lean Sigma principles to minimize quality claims and internal rejects. * Lead strategic training program initiatives (SPC and problem solving tools) throughout the company. * Interpret SPC data to improve and understand production processes to increase quality and efficiency. * Assist in the implementation of Statistical Process Control (SPC) utilizing SAP across the company. * Determine the key variables to track and monitor at each of the sites. * Facilitate automatic tracking of process parameters alongside the Iconics group. * Lead process capability summary report and work with plants and Corporate Quality analysts to drive capabilities to be >1.0 for key attributes. * Interpret SPC data to improve and understand production processes to increase quality and efficiency. * Develops inspection and sampling procedures to assure control of quality at the most economical costs. * Four year degree required (Statistics preferred). * 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment (utilizing Lean Sigma tools preferred).
