I.SUMMARY:
The IS Sr. Analyst, SAP Finance provide key ownership for specific Finance Mega processes and support Finance Lead in definition and deployment of the SAP based solution (Global Template) for the Finance processes. It oversees the global template Finance mega processes and defines any material gaps that may exist with the present and ongoing business and facilitates the determination of whether changes are to be made to the Global template or localization is required.
The IS Sr. Analyst, SAP Finance will use their skills in SAP process design, and configuration, SAP design, development integration, testing and deployment, and/or SAP technical architecture to focus on architecting a solutions using SAP to achieve a defined business outcome. She/he is accountable for the complete life cycle from business requirements definition, to SAP design and module and functional delivery in production. In addition the IS Sr. Analyst, SAP Finance is also accountable for any and all maintenance and system technical and functional upgrades (e.g. OSS Notes, Service packs, and Version upgrades) that are made available through SAP. The IS Sr. Analyst, SAP Finance plays a significant role in designing a production system which is global, integrated, scalable, and flexible and follows industry best practices.
The IS Sr. Analyst, SAP Finance will support Finance track lead in building a 3 -5 year IS road map (strategic plan) to support the Finance process area. Key success criteria in this position are: 1) an in-depth understanding of global Accounting and Management Finance processes preferably in the distribution/reseller industry; 2) experience in understanding and analysis of Finance business requirements and their translation to a new design; 3) has a strong SAP functional knowledge of the Finance specialties that include; Accounting and Control, Management Accounting, Tax, Profitability Analysis, Business and Financial Reporting, Regulatory and Accounting Standards, Business Consolidation; 4) strong expertise on the people, process and procedural change impact that come as a result of SAP Finance module implementations;. 5). Provides thought leadership on Industry Best Practices; 6) Has a good understanding of related cross functional - business processes in the area of OTC, SCE, P2P and WM.
A particular area of knowledge and expertise must be applied to specific customizations related to the Ingram Micro distribution business, relative to vendor invoicing, accuracy / timeliness of chargebacks, price protection and product returns. This role requires that quality is relentlessly pursued through products and services that meet the customer (internal and external) expectation.
Critical areas of process focus for this role are:
Cross Application Integration of Finance with OTC, P2P, Vistex, SCE, Web (Endeavour), and Partner Connectivity functions
SAP – Record to Report Finance, GAAP, IAS, IFRS, Compliance, SOX
FICO, Intercompany, Consolidation and matching
Fiscal, Statutory and period reporting (e.g. month, quarter year end)
Master Data management, validation , and governance,
AP, Travel Management, Vendor Claims Management
Controlling, Project Systems, Profitability Analysis and Reporting
Credit, Collections and Dispute Management (FSCM)
AR, Banking, Treasury, Tax
Bolt-on: Sabrix, MasterStaff, Open Text, High Radius
III.JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent work experience) in computer Science, Engineering, or related science and math discipline with an IS emphasis. PMP certification is an added plus. A minimum 5 years of experience in:
•Global SAP Implementation
•Complex international business environment.
•Minimum of two complete end to end SAP Implementation experience.
And a minimum of three years of Finance specific experience.
Related management experience:
•Knowledge of related Ingram Micro's business practices and direction is essential
•Anticipates company and customer needs in response to a changing global business model
•Partner effectively with customers and business to manifest vision.
•Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, internal and external customers and other cross functional program tracks
•Direct engagement with business resources to gauge current and future strategic needs, analyze impact. --
