Title: SAP SD Consultant

Location: East Peoria, IL

Length: 1 Year+

 

Summary: Analyzes, evaluates, modifies, configures, tests and implements SAP enterprise wide solutions. Assists in the development and implementation of new systems in compliance with organization standards. Maintains documentation on existing and new systems, including enhancements or modifications. Provides follow-up to ensure success of programs. Primary Job Duties: Provide Mock Data Load and Business Integration Testing for European deployments. Provides technical support for system malfunctions and corrects errors. Monitors system performance and maintains documentation on all system enhancements, corrections and operating procedures.

 

Minimum Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related degree. 5-7 years related experience and/or training in systems analysis and system design. SAP functional and technical experience with the Sales Distribution (SD) module (4.6C and ECC 6.0) to include configuration, writing functional and technical specifications. Required Abilities and/or Skills: Possesses knowledge of operating systems, data processing equipment and programming techniques. Ability to analyze and solve complex logical problems. Must work effectively in teams to achieve user objectives and ensure client satisfaction. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to coordinate the efforts of various departments and functions. Strong knowledge of Sales and Distribution with focus on Scheduling Agreements, configurable orders, external sales, non-US Legal & Regulatory requirements. Strong understanding of Customer Master domain and system behavior driven. Strong understanding of pricing methodologies and system behavior driven. EDI knowledge and experience a plus. Will need to ramp up quickly to the Mach 1 template capabilities in order to support the European deployments.
