Position: Siebel CRM Tester
Location: Washington, DC
Duration: 6 months
Testing and support of the Seibel/CRM activities for the BR2 project. The primary approach will involve analyzing and dissecting system requirements and technical specifications for the purpose of creating and executing test cases for large business initiatives. This resource must have experience with Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) and some familiarity with Oracle Business intelligence Data Warehouse Administration Console (DAC).
Contractor is to provide one (1) Seibel/CRM Test Manager ("Consultant") that has:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
· 10+ years experience in test engineering with a minimum of 5 years in a lead/management role.
· Strong experience in Siebel CRM testing including:
· Experience with Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) is essential
· Familiarity with Oracle Business Intelligence Data Warehouse Administration Console (DAC)
· Proficiency in the use of HP tool set, specifically Quality Center and Quick Test Pro.
· Proficiency in SQL
· Experience in Siebel CRM Testing, including:
· Specifically, experience with Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) is essentially
· Familiarity with Oracle Business Intelligence Data Warehouse Administration Console (DAC)
Selected candidate will:
· Work with Project Team to determine appropriate test/validation strategy and activities for a release.
· Develop plans and schedules for test deliverables.
· Develop and execute detailed test plans and test cases/procedures to verify functionality and adherence to business requirements.
· Strong ability to be able to articulate and document test plans for software releases.
· Validate data loads from Source system (flat files, Messages, DB2 tables) into DB tables
· Validate of software / patch installations from DEV/QA/PROD.
· Act & plan like they are supporting a structured SDLC, but be able to respond like they are working in an Agile framework
· Test deliveries and drive defect resolution
· Assist business users in defining User Acceptance Testing, test cases and plans
· Establish and maintain test cases and test data
· Create and maintain test cases in Quality Center
· Develop an automated regression test suite
· Actively participate in walk-through, inspection, review and user group meetings
· Work with business users, system analysts, designers and programmers to create and analyze various required project documents
· Participate in production implementation verification and being accountable for validating system quality
· Plan, document, evaluate and track testing results to ensure system applications are free from defects
· Communicate and interact with appropriate areas on problems, changes and enhancements that may impact data, workflow and /or functionality within interfacing applications
· Comply with standards of the Software Development Life Cycle and follow strategies, plans and procedures within Information Technology software
· Work concurrently on several projects and releases, each with specific instructions that may differ from release
· Ensure that quality processes are carried out through all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle
· Participate in analysis and design walkthroughs, as well as project meetings
· Estimate testing effort on approved projects
