Experience in SQL and related skills
10 years as a COGNOS Consultant
Performance management and best practices for Cognos reporting and modeling
Maintaining and augmenting the FM and Transformer Models Implementation of security in the Cognos environment
Troubleshoot and resolve the applications or integrations issues
Cognos based work estimates and work planning
Architecting Cognos multi-dimensional cube solutions
Design and implement a robust security architecture which will include both row level security and object security
Developing Framework Manager models by leveraging Cognos recommended design techniques
Development and enhancement of Cognos Portal through SDK
SunOne LDAP or Microsoft Active Directory development with JNDI
Relational and Dimensional database design for Oracle, Sql Server
Communicate clearly and effectively with the development teams, management and business users
Assign development tasks and monitor, improve, and report on the Cognos development process / progress
Structured and lateral thinking in order to provide multiple options and recommend the best suited option
Assist project manager in preparing time estimates and justification for assigned tasks
Data modeling, data architecture and analytics
Designing and developing standard reporting and ad-hoc reporting environments
Customer engagement, interpersonal, presentation and overall communication (written and verbal)
