Job Title     :      Lead QA Manual Test
Location    :      Englewood, CO
Duration   :      6-12 months

 

ONLY EAD/GC and US Cit will be ok for this role.

 

Rate: $40hr C2C OR 1099

 

Ensures testing process followed within test project. Drives work activities of QA Manual Testers. Manages workforce of offshore testers. Supports needs of QA Manual Testers. Develops all levels of test plans. Analyzes performance and metrics for project, identifying areas of continuous improvement. Proven experience formulating and communicating detailed test estimates. Proven experience identifying test resource needs. Proven experience identifying regression test case candidates & automation candidates.

 

Scope: This person will be the lead of projects which will be testing web services thru soapUI and working with the automation team. This person will have offshore resources which they will need to direct on a daily basis to complete their projects. They will estimate the time needed and be able to communicate that well to all stakeholders of the project. This is not a person who is a direction taker but a leader in our group.

 

Top technical skills needed:
SoapUI experience
Automated test tool experience
Data driven and simulation tools helpful
SDLC well known with emphasis of testing risk based life cycle

 

5 daily responsibilities:
Coordinating offshore
Managing multiple projects to ensure process and tasks are complete
Defect Triage and Management
Test Planning for both strategy and detail test cases
Communication on risk, project schedule and other items with the test, development and business teams

 

3 Personality traits:
Strong adherence to process
Flexible communication to all levels of management and technical tams
Ability to make educated decisions based on the process

Qualifications
This person should know the test process and be able to strategize this information to lead multiple different test efforts on the large amounts of systems within our company.
This person will have web services testing experience both manual and automated.
This person should be a strong lead to be able to plan for the future not just complete day to day work.
This person will be able to work with a diverse group of both nontechnical and technical people.
Strong communication skills are a must
Organization skills are needed to maintain multiple tasks at one time.
Risk based testing methodology required
