Title: Sr Java Consultant

Location: Jersey City NJ

Duration: 1+ yr contract

·         We need a developer with experience on a Portfolio Account Management (PAM) platform.

·         The domain knowledge of having worked on a PAM system is the most critical skill, other requirements can be relaxed as long as they have this experience.

·         Client is going to implement the Simcorp Dimension system, so it would be "ideal" if they know this, but any other industry platform such as Advent Geneva etc. would be fine too.

·         The candidate should have significant background in portfolio account software support. Example accounting packages include Simcorp Dimension, Eagle, Sungard, SS&C's Portia and Advent's Geneva.  Experience in any of these products would be acceptable provided that the experience is significant

Description:

·         The candidate will develop new projects and support existing systems. Projects and support focus on designing, architecting/re-architecting, automating and supporting existing systems in support of Lord Abbett Operations functions.

·         Solid experience with a portfolio accounting system is strongly preferred.
* Object Oriented Design and Analysis
* 5+ years of Java with WebLogic
* 5+ years of Web Development using Spring
* 2+ years of development experience in Java Web Services
* MS SQL Server/T-SQL experience
* Oracle/PL-SQL experience
* HTML/CSS/XML
* UML Modeling

·         * Shell scripting

Education: * Minimum Bachelor's Degree. Masters in a technology related field a plus.
