Here is the Job Description:

 

Java Developer
Irvine, CA (Local Only)
6 Months Contract

 

Must Have:
- 5+ years of experience as a Java Developer (back-end, object-oriented programming; preferably version 6)
- Excellent experience with Spring and Hibernate frameworks: experience developing application frameworks supporting high performance, distributed, multi-threading processing
- Experience with client-server architecture via socket communication
- Experience with Enterprise Relational Databases: Oracle
- Strong experience using SQL (complex tables joins, PL/SQL and stored procedures
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Experience in a UNIX/Linux environment
- GREAT Communication

 

Plusses:
- Financial industry experience (collateral management); experience with competitors: Capital Group, Wamco, hedge funds
- Experience with Corba/Message Queue
- Experience with ETF and trading systems
