Position: Quality Assurance Service Manager

Location: Bloomington, IL

Duration: 5 months

Rate: $50/hr C2C (not negotiable)

 

This person will be working on the Quality Assurance team within Technical Engineering (TE) and will be responsible for working very closely with the development teams to identify test cases and test scenarios that ensure quality of changes implemented to the Technical Platform (ICP/TP).

 

Skills Needed: -

-In depth knowledge of Linux/Unix OS and middleware products that host web applications

-Experience testing an infrastructure stack from end-to-end (i.e. entire platform integration)

- Knowledge of Test case design and functional test practices (Knowledge of Test Link helpful but not required)

- Ability to function independently and with development teams to drive out test scenarios and troubleshoot issues

- Ability to be proactive on work tasks, and work with developers to resolve issues/performance problems, and implement solutions and performance optimizations.

- Have some level of knowledge in as many products in the stack as possible and understand the role they play in an overall technical architecture.

 

Additional qualities:

-Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

-Experience in creating documentation for others to follow.

-Technical aptitude to learn the products broadly and the ability to understand the integration points between products so that we can thoroughly test the quality of the core ICP/TP infrastructure before it is released for consumption by the business.
