Lead Automation Tester

Location: NYC, NY

Duration: 1+ years

Start: 2 weeks

Interview: phone/skype

Rate: 45-50/HR all inclusive

• 7 - 10 years of testing experience in a software organization including test planning, test development, test reviews, and defect management.

• Experience in managing & leading large QA Automation teams with primary tool as QTP and Selenium as secondary.

• Extensive experience of designing automation frameworks as per project requirements and able to derive RoI

• Ability to work with different Data sources like xml, excel, MS Access, flat file and other DBs

• Extensive experience of handling dynamic objects, regular expressions, COM objects, ADO APIs, VB Script, OTA APIs

• Strong experience with Data base queries and ability to handle test data requirements of automation projects

• Experience with OOP and its implementation in automation frameworks

• Experience in planning efforts and test scripts/conditions.

• Experience in adapting to testing processes and provide inputs for test process improvements

• Communicate risks and able to suggest mitigation to senior management

• Strong mentoring abilities and team management skills

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Strong behavioral and inter-personal skills.

• Strong client facing and communication skills (both verbal and written)

• Understanding of project management knowledge areas, quality processes and process groups.

• Good to have automated testing using different tools like Selenium, Loadrunner/JMeter, and other tools.

• Passionate to explore different tools available in testing industry
