Job Title: Facets Developer

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Duration: 6 Months+

Skills:

•        Knowledge of FACETS batch jobs, TIDAL scheduler

•        Capable of involving multiple teams before time to ensure the SLAs defined for online/subsequent jobs are met

•        Document Batch workflow for any changes to the job schedule/new jobs get added

•        Review scheduling requests from development teams. Interrogate to ensure overall batch schedule is not impacted

•        Co-ordinate with the batch setup team to ensure batches are setup as requested by development

•        Document batch schedule release by release and keep development team posted

•        Meet with support teams and get feedback on planning for any major job related changes (for e.g. quarterly job schedule (sweep jobs), archiving)

•        Optimize jobs that are running longer and is impacting successor jobs

•        Check for any jobs in abort status/long running jobs and have on-call resolve job issues

•        Review custom code and ensures that it integrates with Facets

•        Participate in team meetings related to projects/SSCRs/LO items any upgrades related to Facets and provide recommendation on handling batch

•        Manage offshore resources and ensure quality code is delivered to the client on time.

•        Strong Communication

•        Good knowledge of Facets custom development

•        Experience in reviewing Facets custom code and improving quality
