Job Description: 

The web services team is involved in developing and certifying Soap based and REST based services for all channels supported by kp.org. The ideal candidate would be a white box tester with coding experience in Java. He/she should have extensive experience validating and certifying web services using the SoapUI tool. The candidate should not just a basic working knowledge using SoapUI tool; a basic knowledge of Soap UI is insufficient for this position. He/she should have strong database skills. His/her role would involve working with a messaging queue so any experience in this domain would be beneficial. The knowledge of iTKO LISA is not essential but would be beneficial. Web services testing does not involve UI components so the candidate should be technically strong and be able to envision the test scenarios.  In addition, he/she must be a problem solver capable of triaging issues.

 

The onshore coordinator should have strong communication skills as he/she will be participating in on shore meetings as well as offshore. He/she must be conversant with Agile best practices and be skilled in Selenium Web Driver with sufficient depth of knowledge to be able to audit offshore automation against PQE standards. A good knowledge of Quality Center is also a requirement to ensure that offshore defects are adequately documented and represented accurately to the onshore developers. Knowledge of QC reporting is also a requirement.
