Business Analyst (Supply Chain)
Work Location Richfield/MN
Duration-6 months* [ Possible for Longterm]
Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills
• 6+ years of experience in the field of Supply Chain
• 3+ years of experience in SQL Server database and exposure to data modeling
• Extensive experience business analysis and working experience with business users directly
• Advanced SQL coding skills
• Solid understanding of Data Modeling concepts
• Technical team management experience including offshore team members
• Excellent personal communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Retail related data warehousing experience a plus
Roles and responsibility
• Develop detailed source mapping documents and source understanding documents
• Perform quantitative and statistical analysis
• Document own work, create technical documents for requirements/design and internal communication
• Be the data expert and responsible for its quality and accuracy
• Create supply/demand forecasts and respective inventory targets
Lead or participate in Proof-of-Concept projects
Stay current with emerging industry trends
Ability to take initiative and ownership on tasks
Good written and oral communication
Explain complex design items through documents and white-board sessions
SQL knowledge and performance tuning experience needed
Job Decsription
Expertise in analyzing operational data and source systems business processes, document and report results to help identify problems and enhance supply chain processes.
Provide recommendations which support SCM planning and operations from WMS/TMS/Inventory Management/Pricing . Associate should have strong analytical skills and good experience working with business users directly.
Strong verbal and written communication skills/ Effective interpersonal skills and strong team player
Total experience in required skill (years) 7 years
