Selenium Automation Engineer
Work Location Minneapolis, MN
Duration 8 Months
Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills
Agile and Automation using java is essential.
Strong object oriented programming skills
Expert knowledge of Selenium WebDriver API
Proficiency in the following technologies: Java/J2EE, Jenkins
Good experience in building Automation frameworks which scales across multiple projects and environments from scratch
Working knowledge of various automation technologies and concepts
Experience in managing/setting-up cloud based test environments
JIRA experience with creating and managing bugs
* Experience with Service / Resource-Oriented Architecture
* Solid, proven functional testing experience ... has the ability to create test cases
* Develop and actively participate in build test automation
* Proactive, self-motivated, pro-active, dynamic team player with a positive attitude à Self-starter
* Partners well with team (project managers, developers, business analysts, business owners, qa)
* Comfortable in agile environment
* Understands user stories and how to implement tests for them
* Proven experience researching automation tools that will best fit project
* Proven experience with home-grown automation architecture / framework
* Active contributor & participant
* Ability to multi-task, perform under pressure and meet deadlnes
* Detail-oriented with strong analytic and problem solving capabilities
* Effective communicator
* Must be flexible to changing priorities, processes and business needs
* Background in Business Analysis
Desirable Technical / Functional Skills
• A self-starter, proactive person
• Lots of proven experience with automation who can easily determine what tests are good to automate and which ones aren't
• Someone who has experience knowing what tests are good to execute on the back-end vs. front-end
• Someone comfortable with agile
Total experience in required skill (years) 3 Plus in skills, overall 5 plus
