Summary:

• Over 7+ years of experience in software analysis, design, data modeling, development, testing, implementation, support and documentation of applications with specialization in Oracle technologies
• Good exposure in SDLC projects with various database systems; experience preparing use cases, functional specifications, technical design specifications, DFDs, Visios etc.
• Competent in developing flowcharts, algorithms and UML diagrams required for design/development
• Extensive solid hands-on experience in Oracle Development - SQL, PL/SQL, Shell Scripting (bash/ksh/csh), Javaclasses  
• Proficient in creation of ODI objects and tailoring knowledge modules to suit publishing needs.
• Proficient in creation of database objects like stored procedures, functions, packages, tables, indexes, triggers,snapshots etc. Good experience in performing data migrations, data loads using ETL tools
• Experience in writing OOP PL/SQL codes for applications demanding type objects, nested tables
• Strong experience in performing SQL tuning and PL/SQL application performance tuning with good understanding inExplain Plan, Statspack, SQL Trace & TKPROF, SQL*Analyze, DBMS traces and OEM/Diagnostics
• Good exposure to DBA routine tasks like managing users, roles, privileges, schema and objects, developing database triggers for user access audit and reporting
• Experience working with designing and reporting tools like Oracle Forms/Reports
• Good experience in database supporting languages like WMI, Perl, J/Python, VB6, VBScript and in using Oracle APIs(OCI & OCCI)
• Experience working with geographically distributed team
• Demonstrated ability to work both in independent and team-oriented environments with well-developed organizational skills and excellent interpersonal and communication skills, self-starter and a quick learner
• Experience in designing logical database models using Data Modeling tools like Oracle Designer, ERWin,WorkBench, SQL*Developer
• Experience in job scheduling using CRON utilities, legacy AT scheduler, windows scheduler, Toad
• Experience in Oracle AQ Streams (JMS) PL/SQL coding of applications following publisher-subscriber model
• Enthusiasm for learning new technologies
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
