Java Developer with AS/400,RPG,JDE World Location : Center Valley_PA
As a member of the Application Integration team responsible for the information system
activities related to the enterprise wide application integration. Working under the direction of the
Sr. Manager of Application Integration, provide support for real time, near real time and batch application
integration. Apply both technology and business knowledge to meet end-user requirements.
Manage the creation of custom programs and monitor interfaces to back office.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design, development, implementation, documentation and maintenance of application interfaces as delegated by ITS Manager/Director according to project plans.
• Working with technical resources, provide solutions to improve upon or resolve problems with existing application integrations.
• Follow departmental standards and communicate status.
• Support existing software packages or legacy applications and manage upgrades
• Interface with network and infrastructure managers to coordinate development and maintenance issues
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot and resolve issues
Job skills:
• Demonstrated Experience with Java, JMS, XML, Web Services, Spring, Struts
• Demonstrated Experience with J2EE, REST, JSP, JSTL, AJAX.
• Demonstrated Experience with major java APIs including JDBC, JMS, JAX
• Working knowledge of SOA, Web Services.
• Enterprise application integration skills required
• AS/400, iSeries - 5 to 7 years
• Strong RPG, SQL and IFS
• JDE World Experience - Version 7.3 preferred
• Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) experience is highly desirable.
