Description
Our preference would be a local candidate, that has prior experience working in Supply Chain and/or Purchasing.

We are seeking a motivated experienced individual for an opportunity as a Business Analyst. The responsibilities for this position include;
Analyzing the business needs for a specific application, request or initiative.
Finding out the business problems and provide recommendations for solutions based on various business analysis tools and techniques.
Assist the Business with documenting business requirements and functional specifications.
Working in partnership with IT and the Business to ensure the proper understanding of the Business needs and translation of the needs into clear technical specifications.
Be a liaison throughout the life cycle of the project, working with the project manager and program manager to ensure the development is aligned with the defined requirements and coordinate with the Business on functionality checkout.
Perform investigation into the raw data for accuracy working with our IT Data architects to ensure accuracy of the source data and Business rules are applied correctly to interpret that data.
Have ability to retrieve and process data utilizing TOAD, SQL, SQL-scripting.
Have a strong knowledge and skills to use standard software tools such as: Excel, MS Power Point, Word, visio, and Access. Experience with Business Objects BoBJ or Cognos is a plus.
