Title: Java Developer

Location: Peoria, IL

Length: 9 Months+

Rate: $52/hr on C2C

 

Summary:

Responsible for assisting in the creation and support of IT Solutions that enable the Customer's success.

Provide development and support services for Java based manufacturing applications.

 

Education/Experience:

Computer-related or Engineering-related four year College or University Degree (or equivalent). Progressively responsible IT job-related experiences.

 

Skills and Competencies:

Knowledge/experience with Java application development.

Knowledge/experience with relational data bases such as Oracle or DB2.

Ability to work both independently and with a cooperative team on complex projects that may span multiple infrastructure components or applications.

Strong communication and customer service skills in order to work with IT teams, business partners, and end customers.

 

Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Working directly on application / technical problem identification and resolution, including off-shift and weekend support functions.

Performing Java programming, development, integration, and system administration assignments without close supervision.

Participating in integrated testing and user acceptance of application or infrastructure components.

Designing and implementing processes, or process improvements, to aid in development and support.

Assisting customers with documentation, training and usability efforts
