Our  client is looking for 2 (Two) Ruby on Rails Web Developers - Position - AUSTIN, TX area

JOB DESCRIPTION: -

Requirements

• Requires the following tools/languages 
o Ruby on Rails 
o BASH shell scripting 
o RDBMS (MySQL preferred) 
o Rspec/Cucumber 
o HTML/CSS 
o Javascript (using jQuery) 
Experience with systems integration a plus 
• Strong Linux/UNIX administration ability 
• Solid understanding of network stacks

Responsibilities

• Participate in design discussions/reviews 
• Work with project lead, as well as other team members, to meet aggressive deadlines 
• Write clean, performant and well-documented code 
• Design, develop, document and implement new functionality, as well as enhancements to existing software 
• Troubleshoot defects, identify root cause and engineer best solution
