Position: Data Analyst/Data Modeler

Location: Downers Grove, IL

Length: 5-8 months with extension

 

Need at least Healthcare experience, payer(patient/customer) experience a plus

 

Job Description - We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst / Modeler 

for ongoing analysis of health care information, obtained from a variety of sources, including patient care, financial, and demographic data. It involves development and preparation of information products for association staff and members. It requires the ability to analyze health care data from conceptualization through presentation of the data.

 

Required Skills

•         Experience in using Erwin Data Modeler including its forward and reverse engineering feature set. 

•         Experience defining system integration models combining data from disparate source systems and creation of semantic layer for reporting keeping ETL and database performance in mind. 

•         Proficient in SQL query writing for investigating data anomalies and patterns.

•         Deep understanding of developing enterprise data models that meet normalization rules as well as enterprise data warehouses using Kimball, Inmon, or hybrid methodologies. 

•         Experience working with a variety of information systems and data files, including large and complex files: analyzing file structure, using and creating file layouts, transforming raw data into finished products. 

•         Familiarity with various types and sources of health care information, including financial and patient-level data files. 

•         Strong communication skills, both written and spoken. 

•         Comfortable working independently, with experience working in a team environment. 

•         Demonstrated experience in analysis and presentation of data required. 

•         Perform complex data analysis in support of ad-hoc and standing customer requests.

•         Perform data profiling to investigate data anomalies, patterns, exceptions in order to define data handling rules.

•         Develop programs, methodologies, and files for analyzing and presenting data.

•         Use and support database applications and analytical tools: evaluate data quality, applications, and functions, produce output, maintain operation 

•         Research new data sources and analytical tools; contribute to new product development and improvement in product delivery and presentation.

•         Responsible for the creation of logical and physical data models serving Client's Data Warehousing and BI program.

•         Responsible for creating Source to Target mapping document with detail business rules and field attributes. 

 

Requirements:

•         Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant field. Undergraduate or graduate coursework in statistics, data analysis, research methods. 

•         Minimum 5 years experience in data analysis, decision support, including demonstrated proficiency with analytical software.

•         3+ years experience working with DB2 or Oracle databases

•         3+ years experience using SQL and Unix

 

 

 

 

Position: Teradata Data Modeler

Location: Hartford, CT

Duration: 6 months

 

We are seeking a pure Teradata physical data modeler – ideally 5 years' experience. It would be nice to have DBA experience to compliment it. 

 

Serve as Data analyst on the project, and will be responsible for conducting data analysis, and create source to target mappings, determining transformation rules that need to be put in place to load data into the target. Should be action oriented and must have good communication skills as this role direct interaction with the client. Teradata is the key skill. This role is really for Teradata Data Modeler / DBA activity. Not very focused on ETL development.

 

 

Position: SAS clinicals

Location: Wayne, PA

Duration: 6+ Months

Able to create SDTM and ADaM data sets for ISS and ISE • Involved in Programming and QC of SDTM and ADaM data set and QC of Tables, Listings, Figures, Production or Validation • Create Tables, Listings and Figures. • Publishing experience/knowledge in Data Guides, Define.PDF and Define.XML • Specification Experience • Validation Process • ADaM experience • ISS / ISE experience • Macros o Using standard o Development of macros • Communication • Project Lead experience • Client-facing experience • Comfort working with remote team members, APAC

 

The Clinical SAS Programmer creates SAS programs in support of sponsor's clinical trials according to SOPs and guidelines.

Qualifications-

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree

• Minimum 6 years SAS programming experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and/or contract research organization industries.

• This programmer will create, document, validate, process, and maintain statistical programs and macros that generate analysis datasets, tables and graphics with high quality per agreed timelines.

• For the project lead position, the Clinical SAS Programmer will provide direction and oversight to programmers in creating sponsor deliverables.

• Act as lead programmer to write SAS programs that produce analysis datasets (ADaM) and analyses specified (ADaM) in the Statistical Analysis Plan

• Act as quality control programmer to validate SAS programs that produce analysis datasets and analyses specified in the Statistical Analysis Plan

• Assist the Manager of Clinical programming in overseeing the daily tasks associated with clinical programming and subsequent analysis to ensure sponsor deliverables are created per agreed timelines and to high quality standards.

• Ensure SAS programs adhere to SOPs, guidelines, and specifications

• Ensure SAS program output matches the requirements of the Statistical Analysis Plan

• Consult with managerial, statistical, data management, DIS, and medical writing personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems, and suggest changes.

• Design and/or review database structure

• Create derived-analysis datasets

• Execute analyses specified in the Statistical Analysis Plan (SAP) or Report and Analysis Plan (RAP) under the guidance of the project statistician

• Take instructions and perform tasks as necessary as directed by reporting manager

• Ensure specifications and documentation are correct and complete

• Work with other team members to ensure outputs are correct and complete

• Organize, plan, and prioritize work to develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish project objectives

• Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
