Position:              Epic Resource for Interface development

Location:             Portland, OR

Duration:             Long Term

 

Summary:

Participates in the analysis,
design, development, implementation and support of ANSI X12 and batch file based interfaces. Responsibilities include analysis of data and business owner interaction for discovery and testing. It also includes building and maintaining mapping tables, development, testing, implementation and support of interfaces. Must have at least one Epic certification.

 

Requirements:

• Minimum of 7 years of Healthcare IT experience preferably with at least 3 years of Epic experience.
• Must have one or more Epic certifications.
• Strong Knowledge of Cache and Epic Chronicles.
• Knowledge of enterprise interface engines.
• Knowledge of FTP processes
• Knowledge of Epic Reporting Workbench
• Knowledge of ANSI X12.
• Understanding of healthcare applications and terminology.
• Ability to search out solutions and approaches to problems associated with enterprise interface engines.
• Competent with mainstream office automation, project management, presentation, and communications tools.
• Self-motivated, creative, highly organized, with proven ability to meet deadlines, prioritize workload,
  and manage own time effectively.
• Flexible and adaptable, functions well as a team player, remains calm and cheerful under stressful
  conditions, is comfortable working with diverse skill sets and personalities.
• Executes all job responsibilities and assignments promptly, reliably, honestly, and ethically.
• Above average oral, written and presentation skills.
