Responsibilities:
I am looking for a Senior PowerBuilder Developer that has hands-on Systems Development experience with 8-10 years of experience with PowerBuilder and SQL development tools/methodologies. I need someone who has 5+ years of experience building and tuning SQL queries on Oracle or MS SQL Server.
- Duration: Contract
- Job Scope:
- Analysis, design, development and support of client/server business applications
- Assist in developing systems and specifications including requirements, designing, programming, documentation, test, conversion and implementation
- Collaborate with team on coding conversions to a common language, development process, toolsets and UI conventions
- Production support on business applications
- Identification of limitations and trade-offs of various technical and UI designs
- Manage client expectations and work effectively with all personnel within the business
- Required:
- U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder
o B.S./B.A. with preference for computer-based discipline
o 8-10+ years' experience with PowerBuilder and SQL development tools/methodologies
o 4-5+ years' experience building and tuning SQL queries on Oracle or MS SQL Server
o Strong understanding of and appreciation for flawless GUI's
o 4-5+ years' experience designing and implementing applications in a multi-user, high-volume client-server setting
o Experience with web services/other technologies that tie together platforms
o Familiarity with some CRM, preferably Sales Force Automation (SFA)
• Big bonus if you have: Familiarity with Sales Force Automation (SFA), computer-based degree
