Position: Sr. Oracle DBA / Developer

Location: Newark, DE, Addison, TX

Duration: 6-12 months

 

TYPICAL DAY: This person will be supporting common services ODS projects.

This individual will be responsible for Database design & Development which will include Table Schemas, PL/SQL, Store procedures, Triggers etc.

He will also participate in data store capacity planning, replication strategy as well as Load Testing.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum 10 years of hands on Oracle DBA experience

10 years experience - Table Schema Design, Indexing & Query Optimization

10 years - SQL Statements, PL/SQL, Store Procedures & Triggers

1 - 2 years experience Data Storage and Replication Strategy

3 - 5 years of Software development life cycle

3 - 5 years experience at Oracle support during production installation or triage of new applications

 

PREFERRED SKILLS:

Decent understanding of JDBC API and Oracle Access from Java based Applications

Any exposure to IBM Datastage is big plus

Any exposure to Agile development process is a plus, but no required
