Job Title       :       BI Developer
Location       :       Stevens Point, WI
Duration      :      Long Term
Rate               :      $60/Hr
EAD/ Green Card or US Citizen Consultants only can apply for this position. (NO H1B consultants)

 

As a BI Developer, you will assume primary responsibility for creating a BI consumption layer over the established analytical data store.

 

This will include understanding established requirements, working with business users and business analysts to further develop and refine requirements, development, testing and documentation of the BI solutions delivered. You will participate in the user acceptance testing and data validation activities, troubleshoot and fix defects with limited guidance, and investigate data anomalies encountered during testing.

 

Requirements:
* Heavy experience with MS SQL Analysis Services ( SSAS ).
* Heavy experience with Multidimensional Expression ( MDX ) development.
* Heavy experience with T-SQL ( MS SQL Server 2008 / 2012), including extensive experience in creating complex queries and procedures.
* Heavy experience with star schema analytical data stores.
* Strong experience with ETL architectures and concepts.
* Strong experience with batch processing environments.
* Strong experience with executing data validation and user acceptance testing.
* Experience with Business Objects universe and report development is highly desired. Will consider experience with a similar product (

i.e. SSRS, Cognos, etc. ).
* Insurance / Financial industry experience is highly desired.
* Pluses: Tableau development; test script creation and execution, which entails writing the scripts to execute batch processes and the SQL to validate data in a database.
 
HEADLINE: BI Dev w/SSAS; MDX dev; T-SQL (08/12); star schema analytical data stores; ETL arch; batch processing; data

validation/UAT; Business Objects or similar & insurance/financial industry exp
