Position: Systems Engineer

Location: Washington, DC

Duration: 6+ Months

Interview Mode: Phone then Face 2 Face

Bachelor degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Master degree.

Required skills and experience:

•             Very strong knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Active Directory design and architecture

•             Very strong knowledge and experience of Microsoft infrastructure services such as DNS, DHCP, and Remote Access

•             Working knowledge and experience on supporting Microsoft Messaging services and applications (For example, Cloud e-mail and failover messaging capability)

•             Ability to implement and configure systems needed to support an enterprise Active Directory infrastructure.

•             Active Directory experience in large end-user environment, to include an understanding of multiple Active Directory functions

•             Ability to work with other functional teams and facilitate activities from a systems and integration perspective

•             Strong knowledge and understanding of Storage Area Network (SAN) and Network-Attached Storage technology

•             Ability to administer and implement engineering and configuration changes of Storage Area Network (SAN) and Network-Attached Storage (NAS) devices

•             Experience in installation and configuration of Storage Area Network (SAN) and Network –Attached Storage (NAS) devices with multiple vendors. For instances, NetApp, EMC, and HP

•             Ability to create as-built system engineering documentation and operations process and procedures
