Title: Sr OBIEE Developer
Location: Chicago, IL
Project Length: 1+ Year
Mandatory Skills:
- 7 to 10 years overall IT experience
- 5 to 7 years of experience in OBIEE including architecture, design and development of Data Warehousing and Business analytics Applications, Data Analysis, Data Mapping, Reporting and ETL as well as extensive OBIEE experience in configuring Interactive Dashboards with drill-down capabilities using global and local filters.
- 5 to 7 years of Business Analysis experience and has demonstrated experience developing business requirements, functional requirements and detailed design documentation
- Excellent communication skills
Secondary Skills:
- Experienced in installation, configuration, administration and management of the repository, creation and configuration of complex reports and role based Intelligence Dashboards using OBIEE (Siebel Analytics).
- Experience in implementing OBIEE 11.1.1.3.0/10.1.3.3.X, Oracle BI Applications 7.9.X which include, hands on expertise in RPD development, Siebel/Oracle BI Answers, BI Dashboards, BI Delivers and Reports.
- Experience in configuring Data warehouse Administration Console (DAC) and ETL (Informatica Power Center 8.6.1/8.5.1) jobs.
- Worked extensively with Oracle Business Intelligence Applications that have completely pre-build BI solutions.
- Expertise in converting and using Oracle pre-build Rpd's (Financial, HR, Sales, Supply Chain, Order Management, Marketing Analytics, etc.) according to business requirements.
- Proficient in Extraction, Transformation and Loading (ETL) of data from various sources(such as OLTP Systems, Oracle E-Business Suite, Flat files)/data marts into the target systems(such as OLAP Systems, Business Analytics Warehouse(BAW)) using various tools and utilities which include Informatica Power Center 8.6.1 and DAC.
Duties:
- Faciltitate BI reporting requirements discussions
- Analysis, design and development services for OBIEE Analytic Environment (RPD, Reports, dashboards) in support of the Finance Transformation Analytics environment.
- Mentoring of client staff on OBIEE processes and procedures and best practices
- Miscellaneous consulting, analysis, design, and development services in support of the Finance Transformation Analytics environment
Required Education/Experience: Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or related. At least 5 to 10 years related IT experience.
