Duration: Long term duration
Location: Madison, WI
This can be a long term contract
JBoss Middleware Administrator
JBoss Middleware Administrator that can create new production environments for a first-of-its-kind biometric identification platform. In this position you will provide troubleshooting, administration and maintenance, performance tuning, patching and upgrades for enterprise servers built on Linux platforms. You must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment and possess strong knowledge of complex distributed computing environments.
Duties and Responsibilities
· JBoss Middleware Infrastructure Design and Automation.
· JBoss Middleware application support.
· Performance Tuning Application Servers.
· Clustering, caching, messaging and transactions to support enterprise Java application deployments.
Required Qualifications
· Minimum of 2 years systems administration work experience.
· Minimum of 3-5 years experience in Linux and Shell scripting.
· Minimum of 3-5 years experience in JBoss administration.
· Experience with Apache Web Server and some of its plugins including load balancer, proxy etc.
Candidates should also possess the following personal

· Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
· Ability to set and manage priorities judiciously.
· Exceptionally self-motivated and directed.
