Client is looking for Java with Flex Software Developer 

 

Location: Atlanta, GA

Duration: 6+ months

Rate: Open.

 

Skills:

-          Java

-          Flex/Flash/ActionScript 3.0

-          JavaScript

-          SQL

-          Unix

-          General web app and website experience including

JSP/XML/HTML/CSS/AJAX

 

Nice to have:

-          UI design and usability experience

-          Experience developing productivity applications

-          Experience with content management systems

-          NoSQL DBs (ie. CouchDB/MongoDB)

-          Python

 

Interpersonal/Team Skills:  Good communication skills.  Work closely with both small and large teams.  Customer contact.   

Experience: 6+ years

Education:  Bachelors degree in a technology/science field.  Prefer:

Computer Science or Engineering degree.

 

Responsibilities:

• The developer will be a part of the team responsible for building, supporting and maintaining the CNN Wire and CNN's other digital properties.
• Duties include the design, development, testing and documentation of software. Deliver quality work to meet customer budget, requirements and schedule.
• Provide prompt, professional customer service.
• Follow group development standards and industry best practices.
• Share and discuss ideas with team members. 
• Applicant should be able to lead and participate in both technical and non-technical discussions.
• Applicant should be highly motivated, able to self-manage, and able to work well in a team environment.
