BUSINESS OBJECTS CONVERSION AND MIGRATION EXPERT

LOCATION; HOUSTON, TX

DURATION; 5 MONTHS +

START: ASAP

RATE: 60-75/hr (DOE).

 

Job Description:

 

The BO Migration and Conversion Expert is a savvy in report conversion and who can drive analysis and technical decisions in regards to BO migration and conversion. Consultant needs to work with BI Lead and business on overall conversion analysis and construct a realistic design and build plan. Good technical expertise and good communication is very important for this role.

Required skills:

•          Consultant with minimum 6 years of Business Objects and 3-4 Full life cycle implementation

•          Consultant must have at least 3 BO reports migration and conversion experience (From BO 5.x or 6.5 to newer versions)

•          Consultant must be an expert in BO Import Wizard and BO Report Conversion Tool

•          Consultant needs to have good analysis skills and have good communication skills to work with Business

•          Consultant need to be detail oriented and familiar with reports with macros, formulas

•          Must be expert in DESKI to WEBI conversion

•          Must have security migration experience

•          Prefer to have experience in BO 5.1 to BO XI 3.1 conversion

Education:

Minimum of Bachelor in Arts, Business Administration or Science

Overall experience:

Minimum of 9 years of industry experience.
