Need COGNOS Developer      

Location: Richmond, VA

Duration: 6 Months

CANDIDATE MUST BE A GC, CITIZEN OR EAD ABLE TO WORK ON OUR W2 - CANNOT USE H1 VISA CANDIDATES OR CTC ARRANGMENTS...NETWORK PARTNER FEE WILL BE PAID....

Skills:

·        Demonstrated ability to develop in Cognos Framework Manager, Report Studio, Analysis Studio for version 8.3 and above.
·        Demonstrated ability to develop dashboards and scorecards, portal pages and multi-dimensional cubes with Cognos.
·        SQLSvr 2000 -create databases, and create load programs. Other RDBMS knowledge (Oracle, DB2) a plus.
·        Strong experience with SQL, must have worked with nested queries and query optimization.
·        Experience working with report / BI tool such as Cognos, Crystal Reports, Business Objects, etc.
·        Strong Excel skills including macros and pivot tables.
·        Familiarity with MS Access (one or more of 97 / 2000 / 2003/ 2007).

Technical experience preferred:
·        Ability to work with Cognos Metric Studio preferred.
·        1-2 years experience working working with scripting languages and Excel macros.
·        Ability to work with Sharepoint preferred.
