We have an urgent opening with one of our clients for the below position. Kindly review and let me know your interest.

 

This is a direct-client opening for a Test Engineer located in Mountain View, CA. This is a 3+ month contract.

 

Test software and perform analysis to ensure that software products meet design specifications and are within total quality management limits and standards. 

 

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Responsible for modem software integration and validation activities in Linux/Android platform.

Collaborate with test team to define acceptance test and to ensure software maturity.

Analysis of test results, and track bug fixes from Vendor in modem software field.

Tracking internal type approval (ITA), field test issues, including protocol, SIM, and RF test cases

Issue Validation & Verification  (verify closer of all open issues)

Define test objectives and write test cases, test plans, and test scenarios. 

Perform testing and de-bugging tasks according to organization's quality process. 

 

Required experiences: 

5-10 years of experience in SW testing.

A candidate should have deep knowledge in application testing for iOS, Android, Windows mobile, Agile Scrum and Symbian.

Experience setting-up test processes to support the proliferation of Android devices and Oses.

Senior level to help work with their existing QA team to formalize the testing and test.

A candidate should have a very good understanding of test process and should be able to do a planning of test activities.

 

Preferred:

Automation testing experience on iOS, Android, WM, Symbian

Certification experience
