Quality Engineer
1.Promote quality achievement and performance improvement throughout
the organization. 2.Implement, communicate and maintain the Company's
Quality Systems and Policies for site compliance with quality system
requirements, including but not limited to AS9120 & AS9100. 3.Working
with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements for external
suppliers. 4.Ensuring compliance with national and international
standards and legislation. 5.Ensuring tests and procedures are
properly understood, carried out and evaluated and that product
modifications are investigated if necessary. 6.Write technical and
management systems reports. 7.Manage and maintain the Company's
quality inspection and product release programs for incoming and in-
process materials and components, processes and finished goods.
8.Establish QA compliance objectives and ensuring that targets are
achieved. 9.Formulate and manage the development and implementation of
goals, objectives, policies, procedures and systems pertaining to the
QA/QC roles and responsibilities. 10.Maintain awareness of the
business context and company profitability, including budgetary
control issues. 11.Assess product specifications of the company and
its suppliers, and compare with customer requirements. 12.Manage all
Supplier and Internal Non-conformance processes. 13.Manage and
implement the application of environmental and health and safety
standards and requirements including the facility EHS plan.
14.Develop, document, implement and maintain quality procedures and
work instructions in conjunction with operating staff in conjunction
with corporate requirements. 15.Maintain controls and documentation
procedures in conjunction with corporate requirements. 16.Liaison with
customers' auditors and engineering personnel to ensure the effective
execution of corrective actions and compliance with customers'
specifications and requirements. 17.Establish standards of service for
customers or clients. 18.Prepare clear explanatory documents such as
customers' charters. 19.Monitor performance by gathering relevant data
and producing statistical reports. 20.Organize and manage quality
assurance function in close co-operation with the customers and with
the Company's Management team (Member of Management Team) in
conjunction with corporate requirements. 21.Identify relevant quality-
related training needs and delivering training in conjunction with
corporate requirements. 22.Collate and analyze performance data and
charts against defined parameters. 23.Prepare reports as required in
support of Facility, Customer and Corporate requirements.
II. Education/Experience Requirements 1.Bachelor's Degree in an
applied science or engineering field. 2.Five (5) years experience in
Quality Assurance Preferably within Aerospace / Military manufacturing
industry segment.
