Client is in need for a highly skilled SharePoint Consultant, Senior Consultant or Manager for the position in Dallas, TX for a long term contract. The primary focus for this position will be solution design, technology leadership, configuration, and development in the area of Microsoft SharePoint Server and other various related Microsoft technologies. The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering requirements, solution design, database design, hard-core development, testing, and implementation.
Engagements and specific tasks include intranet design and development, extranet design and development, public internet site design and development, software installation, software configuration, and overall strategy. Applicants must have a strong background in Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007. Applicants must have excellent communication and organization skills, object oriented development skills, documentation skills, self-motivation, project leadership expertise, and maintain outstanding professionalism.
The selected candidate must possess the skills and qualifications outlined below. Degree in the area of MIS, CIS, or Computer Science
· 2-5 years minimum solution implementation or application development experience in a professional environment
· 1-3 years minimum experience with MS SharePoint Server (configuration and/or customization)
· 2 - 4 years minimum experience with MS SQL Server
· Excellent communication and leadership skills
· Database Design skills
· Object Oriented Design skills
· Experience with BizTalk, MS CRM, .NET development, or Commerce Server not required but considered a plus!
· XML, XSL, ETL, Web Services, and SOA experience also a plus.
· Big 4 experience and experience with Unified Modeling Language, Rational Methodology, or MCSD also considered a plus!
