Job Description:
Skills/Roles required for this position:
Must have:
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or other relevant subject area
· 5 years of directly relevant work experience most of which is in Java development
· Requires in-depth knowledge and experience with Java based application's quality assurance. Prefer experience with JBOSS web servers.
· Experience with automated testing in a CI environment
· 3+ years of dedicated experience in web services functional and regression testing on REST based web services using protocols JSON, and XML.
· 2+ years writing integration based tests for complex systems
· 2+ years of writing and validating java unit tests
· 2 years of performance or functional testing experience using Jmeter, creation of load/stress scripts, and automation with ANT or similar build tools.
· Experience authoring comprehensive test plans and test scripts.
· Demonstrated experience with data validation testing on large complex projects
· Demonstrated experience with analyzing technical requirements.
· Should be self-starter and able to work with minimal guidance
· Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills is a must for this position.
· Experience working on an Agile team using TDD
· Integration testing using tools different tools like arquillian
Nice to have:
• 2 years of dedicated experience writing complex SQL queries on relational database including Oracle, SQL server
• 2 years of JS API & Client testing
