Network Engineer

Location: Cupertino CA

Duration: 12 Months

 

Requirements and Qualifications:

 

                  *         10 years' experience with enterprise level network design and support

                  *         College degree (BA or BS); technical degree preferred

                  *         Ability to work independently

                  *         Excellent written and communications skills

                  *         Creative problem-solving abilities

                  *         Extensive hands-on experience with enterprise/carrier-class routers and switches (Cisco experience a must)

                  *         Must have superior network routing protocol troubleshooting skills (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and MPLS)

                  *         Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP, including POS, PPP, VRRP, HSRP, and SNMP

                  *         Security experience with Juniper Netscreen & SRX, Cisco FWSM's, PIX, and ASA. Must understand and have experience with IPSec, 3DES, AES, IKE setup.

                  *         Experience with security issues and Access Control methodologies

                  *         Experience with standard network change management and configuration policies

                  *         In-depth knowledge of network monitoring and other network administrative tools

                  *         Network certification preferred (CCIE, JNCIE, CCNP)
