1. Title/Role: Mainframe Consultant
Location: Franklin Lakes, NJ
Duration: 3 months
Rate: ALAP
The candidate will provide technical skills in a mainframe environment, working both in a team and independently, on a variety of tasks, including:
· Maintenance of automation processes
· JCL and code modifications
· Tools modifications using REXX
· Debugging technical issues
· Code changes
This is a general maintenance position and requires strong analytical, technical, writing and people skills. The person will be reporting to me and working with members of my team.
The necessary skill-set is:
- Strong JCL, MVS, VSAM
- Capable in REXX
- Basic knowledge of CICS and DB2 coding/utilities
- Hiperstation
