Position Title: Tester with Strong SQL/Basic MDX/automate in C#
Location: REDMOND/ISSAQUAH, WA
Duration: 6+ MONTHS
Rate Cap: Market
Skills Required:
· Strong SQL programming & design skills
· Knowledge of the Microsoft Business Intelligence technology stack is a plus , e.g. SQL Analysis Service (SSAS), Integration Service (SSIS), SQL Reporting Services (SSRS), Reporting tools (Excel, ProClarity, PowerPivot), Data Mining, or related DW technologies ( ETLs and MDX queries)
· Strong programming & Design skills (C# and/or VB.Net)
· Hands-on Experience in Design/Implement Test Harness/Automation Frameworks for IT DataWarehouse Applications.
· Strong analytical skills
· Excellent verbal & written communication skills and a proven track record of working well with counterparts in Development, Program Management, and across teams
· Experience with Perf/Stress/Scale/Reliability Testing on services a strong plus.
· The ability to unbundle issues and formulate recommendations clearly, attention to details, technical horsepower, strong technical problem solving, and critical thinking are required skills
· Strong collaboration skills including knowing when to negotiate and when to pushback
· Prior experience shipping customer/business intelligence programs, including reporting and visualization, web tagging and data collection features is a plus
· Ability to perform system-wide root cause analysis and drive improvements in performance, scale, and reliability
· Be self-motivated and results oriented
