Position: EDI healthcare tester

Location: BATON ROUGE, LA

Duration: Long Term

 

 

Test Analyst

 

* EDI X12 Transaction knowledge (Healthcare or Insurance)

* Familiar with HIPAA 4010 and/or 5010 functionality

* Generate/run XML scripts

* SQL knowledge - intermediate level

* Test Tool Experience and Training ( Ex: Mercury Quality Center or

Rational Tools)

* Ability to verify EDI files for file dropping, Translation and Loading

* Ability to validate XML Transaction data

* Ability to work with Developers/Coders on a Technical level

* Ability to create Test Data and/or extract Test Data

* Ability to work independently with limited supervision

* Ability to interact with several levels of clients

* Willingness to share information and mentor new personnel

* Ability to populate prepared Test Cases with *testable test data- as

required by Test Script

* Knowledge of SDLC Methodologies

 

Tester

* EDI X12 Transaction knowledge (Healthcare or Insurance)

* Familiar with HIPAA 4010 and/or 5010 functionality

* Test Tool Experience and Training (Ex: Mercury Quality Center or

Rational Tools)

* Automated Regression Testing Tool experience (Ex: Quick Test Pro (QTP)

and Load Runner

* Ability to verify EDI files for file dropping, Translation and Loading

* Ability to create Test Cases and Scripts

* Ability to perform Manual Testing

* Knowledge of SDLC Methodologies
