Position : NEED Websphere Developer

Location : Hoffman Estates, IL

Duration : 18+ Months

 

Required Experience: 4 to 7 Years

 

Skills/ Technologies required:

 

·         Should have hands on experience in WebSphere Portal 7.x, Java, J2EE (JSP, Servlets, Web Services – SOAP & REST), Themes & Skins Development, Portlet (JSR 286, JSR 168) Development, iWidget Development, Portal Administration.

·         Strong communication, presentation and analytical skills are must.

 

Role & Responsibilities:

·         Will be a SME for WebSphere Portal

·         Responsible for designing, developing & deploying Portal components including portlets (JSR 286 and JSR 168), Widgets, Mashups and Themes, layouts, skins

·         Knowledge of Portal SPI's, Portlet Wiring, Rendering Schemes, Personalization and WCM is needed

·         Configuring and administering Websphere Portal servers

·         Strong J2EE foundation needed surrounding JSP, Tags, RAD, Web Services (REST & SOAP) and client side technologies like AJAX, JSON

·         Experience with Portlet Factory is desirable

·         Interact with senior architects, leads, business clients and technical directors

·         Certifications on one or more Websphere portal streams is desirable
