ROLE: BI Architect

Location: Midland, Texas

6 Months++

 

 

Skill Set: Pentaho 3.7

 

·                     Assess and cultivate long-term strategic goals for BI development in conjunction with end users, managers,

clients, and other stakeholders.

·                     Analyze and document user requirements based on findings, design functional specifications and mockups for BI front-end applications.

·                     Develop user interface to handle BI customizations.

·                     Upgrade to latest Pentaho release and modify existing dashboards to comply with latest releases.

·                     Lead the integration efforts for new dashboards including source DB changes, ETL and dashboards.

·                     Assist in the design of databases and data warehouses to ensure interoperability with BI solutions.

·                     Design, code, test, and document all new or modified BI dashboards, applications, and programs.

·                     Develop the semantic layer (cubes), metadata, reports, and report definitions.

·                     Produce ETL design guidelines to ensure a manageable ETL infrastructure for the BI system.

·                     Troubleshoot BI tools, systems, and software; performance-tune these applications as necessary.

·                     Conduct research and make recommendations on BI products, services, and standards in support of development efforts.

·                     Implement and maintain BI solution for customers and new users
