DB2 LUW AIX DBA'S
Location : FRANKLIN LAKES, NJ
Duration : 6 months

I have three (3) senior DB2 AIX DBA positions open at Franklin Lakes, NJ that needs to be filled ASAP.  Length of contract is for the remainder of this year with a strong possibility of renewal in 2012.
 
The ideal candidate should have senior level experience with DB2 on AIX 9.7 platform.  Experience with Web Sphere and Master Data Management (MDM) is a plus.  We prefer candidates that are local to this area, but will consider out of state (no relocation costs) with the right skill set.  Consultants will work closely with my team and developers in support of MDM project, which is currently in design & test stage using SCRUM methodology.  Initial rollout to production is set for Jan 31st.
 
QUALIFICATIONS:
§   6 - 8 years experience in database administration
§   Strong analytical skills
§   Experience working in a Unix client server environment on AIX
§   Experience in managing multiple databases
§   Experience with DB2 LUW version 9.7 on AIX
§   Knowledge of PEGA, MDM and/or InfoSphere is a plus.
§   Demonstrate knowledge of Data Modeling and Data Normalization techniques.
§   Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
§   Strong problem determination and resolution skills.
§   Ability to prepare, present oral and written reports, presentations, and recommendations and to perform necessary research or investigations
§   Ability to accept high level assignments and work with limited supervision and guidance
§   Excellent work history and attendance record
§   Strong verbal and written communication skills
§   Ability to work in fast paced environment
