GOOD EXPERIENCE WITH TESTING VARIOUS APIs and experience in cloud applications testing.

The Cloud QA Analyst 3 is part of the next generation Cloud Solutions and Innovation Group within the CTO office.  This group of elite business and technical professionals develops highly sophisticated Enterprise Cloud solutions.
This person will be responsible for end-to-end QA and testing across Cloud Computing programs as well as assisting with environmental efficiency for maximum throughput.  Utilize industry best-practice QA processes and systems for the Savvis environment to achieve maximum quality and efficiency.  Assist Cloud QA and Release Manager with all aspects of understanding technical requirements (processes and systems) and preparation of related Test Plans and Test Cases. Work with other QA resources and developers to define Test Plans and Test Cases.  Execute test plans and run test cases for unit and integrated testing efforts, employing automated test methods whenever available and practical.  Work closely with internal and external teams for bug reporting, reviews and fixes.  Assist with development of detailed reports. Assist with validation of new VDC environments in preparation for Production use.
Contribute to assessment, improvement and maintenance of the build/release processes and systems for fast-paced QA cycles.
This individual must have a strong ability to understand complex software, web services and workflows as well as own significant parts of test plans and complex test cases, reporting and related release activities to meet aggressive timelines.
Position Objectives:
•    Drive end-to-end QA test plan execution, as assigned by management, with a high level of effectiveness and efficiency.
•    Apply industry best practice QA processes and systems for the Savvis environment.
•    Assist manager with all aspects of gathering technical requirements (process and system) and authoring test plans and cases based on those requirements.
•    Develop unit and integrated test suites for sufficient coverage and maximum throughput.
•    Develop and improve test automation by leveraging open source and commercial tools.
•    Work with manager, other QA resources and with developers for advanced test case development and planning.
•    Assist manager with enhancement of software and workflow build and release processes and systems.
Required skills: 
•    Minimum 5 years QA analyst or QA engineering experience.
•    Proven experience in large product rollouts.
•    Experience in writing unit and integrated test plans.
•    Ability to execute test plans for several project tracks concurrently.
•    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    MUST BE HANDS-ON.
Desired skills:
•    8+ years QA analyst or QA engineer.
•    Cloud Computing/Solutions experience.
•    Systems and process automation integration.
•    Hosting and network service provider experience.
•    ITIL training and certification.
•    Experience with automated testing.
•    Knowledge of Vantive, VMware, HP OO/NA/SA, BMC Atrium.
Education or Equivalent Experience:
•    Four year BS/BA in Computer Science or relevant experience in related field.
