Multiple years hands-on experience in software testing, creation and implementation of Test Strategies, Test Plans, Manual Test Cases and Automated Test Scripts
Experience in all stages of application testing, including functional, usability, regression, load/stress and performance testing
Minimum 5 years of experience with Test Management Software (HP Mercury suite of tools –QuickTestPro, TestDirector, LoadRunner, Quality Center) to conduct functional, regression and performance testing, evaluate test results, report and manage defects.
Previous work experience testing applications using Microsoft technologies, including .NET 4.0 framework with WPF and Silverlight, ASP.NET MVC Framework, SQL Server 2008 and Test Foundation Server (TFS) 2010
Designs, develops, and implements testing methods and equipment. Plans and arranges the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices. Provides test area with parameters for sample testing and specifies tests to be performed. Compiles data and defines changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements. Responsible for testing all customer samples and for special tests that cannot be performed in the test area.
Strong Microsoft SQL development skills (SQL Queries) and SQL database testing
Proven ability to develop, execute and maintain automated test suites across multiple environments: Web, Portal, Web Services, desktop, and back end applications
Ability to define and generate meaningful test metrics and report progress to internal and customer management
This position is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, conducting, and documenting software tests in a .NET SQL server application environment.
The position is responsible for all facets of software testing to include functionality, usability, regression, load, and performance testing.
This position will create, conduct, and document both manual and automated test cases. The position requires proven skills in creating and maintaining automated test scripts. The position also entails test data creation and post test data base analysis of results.
This position is responsible for defining and implementing appropriate metrics to successfully convey test case completion status and defect status to customer and internal management.
