Position:  Linux Systems Administrator

Location:  Memphis, TN

Duration:  12 months

 

 

Work Scope:

Need a Systems Administrator with strong Linux administration skills and knowledge. The resource will be responsible for the management and support of over 60 Redhat and Suse Linux servers and must have a good working knowledge of managing a Windows Server environment.

 

Minimum Job Skills:

At least 5 years of Unix/Linux experience and a minimum of 2 years of Redhat Linux specific experience

Working experience of supporting a Windows Server environment

Good hands-on software and hardware troubleshooting experience

Good working knowledge of current systems software, protocols, and standards, including firewalls, Active Directory and Anti-virus software

Good working knowledge of server virtualization utilizing VMWare

Good working knowledge of Storage Area Networks

Familiarity with TCP/IP protocols, firewall management, and database administration
