Qualifications:
We need an architect level .NET consultant to design and develop a new ASP.NET/C# application and report for supporting the CareCompass Mobile application. The scope of the project primarily revolves around displaying data from existing databases in easy to understand formats (appout 5 aspx pages), but there will be a portion that involves changing data in a database, so there will be some database work that includes keeping audit trails of changes. There is also an MSRS/SSRS report component so the candidate should be versatile in both tools.
The selected candidate will need to be able to write clear technical and user documentation and be able to work largely independently. He/she absolutely must have experience in both designing and implementing ASP.Net applications from screen mockups. He/she must have thorough knowledge of modern web development practices-expert level CSS is an absolute must. The selected candidate will also need to demonstrate understanding on UI/UX principles and an ability to execute for usability and clarity, application security and cross-browser compatibility.
Required expert level skills: C#, ASP.NET, CSS (advanced), ADO.NET, MSSQL, MSRS/SSRS, Visual Studio 2010, SVN, IIS, Web Forms, Web UI Design, multi-browser compatibility.
Nice to have skills: Ajax, Continuous Integration (e.g. Hudson), Design Patterns (DAO, DTO, Façade, Bridge, Singleton), SpecFlow, nUnit, nAnt, FxCop
Things that might seem helpful but really aren't: Enterprise Library, WinForms or other Desktop development, VB.NET, Web Services
