Title: SQA Tester
Location: Marlboro, MA
Duration: 6 months + contract
A growing technology company that supplies data storage systems to the media and entertainment industry is looking for a SQA Systems Engineer. Candidate must be experienced with Windows, Mac OSX, and Linux operating systems.
Responsibilities:
· Directly participates in the test planning, execution, results analysis, root cause identification, and defect reporting.
· File System Testing ; Performance Testing ; Reliability Testing
· Development of scripts for Test Automation
· Assist with reproducing Field issues
Requirements:
· Must have testing experience with Storage and Network infrastructure products (SAN, NAS).
· A broad knowledge of Linux, Windows, and Mac based operating system technology.
· Test Script experience (Python, Perl, Lua)
· Technical experience in current SAN/NAS storage QA.
· Knowledge of additional storage protocols, I/O subsystems, and/or device drivers helpful.
· Experience working with TCP/IP LAN/WAN networked servers
· Knowledge and understanding of different RAID types and file systems.
· Experience working with one or more of the following: distributed systems, clustering, operating systems, embedded systems, virtualization, or network protocols.
MUSTS: MAC, some level of scripting preferably with python or perl. Apps testing mostly with MAC and PC, linux a plus, not 100% automated
Position: 3
Title: Storage Engineer
Location: Marlboro, MA
Duration: 6 months + contract
A growing technology company that supplies data storage systems to the media and entertainment industry is looking for a Development Engineer. Candidate must be experienced with Windows, Mac OSX and Linux operating systems, as well as Storage and Network infrastructure.
Requirements:
· Strong Programming skills in C, C++
· MAC + Windows + Linux (strongest with Mac and windows)
· Experience w/ RAID Storage systems, File Systems, or related.
· A broad knowledge of Windows, Mac and Linux based operating system technology.
· Kernel-level debugging experience a plus
· Experience working with distributed systems, operating systems, virtualization, and network protocols
· Technical experience in current enterprise level SAN/NAS storage QA and Development
· Experience working with TCP/IP LAN/WAN networked servers
· Application layer and GUI Development
5 years experience
Candidates out of Dell/Equalogic, NetApp, EMC would be best
Someone who wants to code; product has evolved; they continue to add functionality.
