Job Title: PowerBuilder Developer

Location: Chantilly, VA

Duration: 6 Months+

Skills:

·         6-10+ years of PowerBuilder application experience using Sybase PB Enterprise 10, 11, 12, including creating builds.

• Must be able to support all aspects of a projects development lifecycle.

 

• Participate in specification, design, implementation, documentation, code reviews and testing for new projects/enhancements.

• Must have a strong background in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) techniques; service oriented architecture (SOA), analysis, design, and unit testing.

·         Knowledge in development tools such as Sybase SQL Anywhere 10+, Visual Expert, Serena Source Save (PVCS), InstallShield is desired.

 

·         Knowledge of VB.Net using Visual Studio 2005/2008/2010 and Visual Basic 6.0 is a plus but not necessary.

·         Proficient use of the PowerBuilder IDE debugger to troubleshoot and fix errors is a must.

 

·         Have the ability to examine and quickly learn existing business logic and processes.
