.NET  Developer with light SharePoint exposure
Work Location : Elk Grove, CA
Duration : 3-6 Months
Rate : Market

Note : Locals Preferred

The Client is seeking a consultant for 3-6 months to support NET development, SQL database creation and updating via scripting, SQL Reporting services, and SharePoint. Required skills include:

•         A minimum of five years experience in a production development environment

•         Experience in ASP.NET, VB.NET, SQL Programming, and MS Visual Studio

•         Knowledge of .NET application architecture and security

•         Knowledge of SQL database creation and maintenance as well as expertise in using stored procedures and scripts.

•         Ability to document deliverables — both developer and end user documents

•         Ability to design and create reports using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services

•         Experience with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server Standard or Enterprise 2007 and above

•         SharePoint management via the browser — creating sites, managing permissions, document libraries, custom lists

•         SharePoint customizations via SP Designer 2007 and 2010 — Creating data views, custom forms and pages, master pages, workflows

•         Experience with website development

•         Knowledge of MS Access and MS Excel

Understanding of the following is desirable:

•         Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) or Enterprise Asset Management such as IBM Maximo CMMS/EAM

•         SharePoint customizations via Visual Studio 2005 and 2010 — For VS 2005 — using the SP Object Model to update SP lists, retrieve SP data For VS 2010 — using the SP Object Model and SP
           related templates/web parts

•         SourceGear Vault version control
