Senior QA Engineer
- Define, develop and implement detailed test cases/plans for product
feature set
- Collaborate with developers, product managers and customer care to
understand objectives of features and be able to provide test
approaches
- Create, define and automate full end to end test suites for all
product releases (both front and back end) using Telerik (web
automation) as well as any necessary tools
- Responsible for working with development team to review, understand
and automate the product backlog during sprint planning
- Establish and recommend changes to policies which impact the team
directly to improve test efficiency
- Improve test coverage across all product platforms through automated
and manual execution
- Perform hands-on testing for complex features as necessary
- Continually increase the complexity of test coverage of system,
functional, stress, performance and security tests
- Work with development and product teams to isolate and resolve
issues, including troubleshooting of customer issues
- 8+ years of testing, automation, and development experience
- Experience with test automation, unit and functional testing
- Strong programming experience in C# or related web programming
language
- Good experience using scripting languages such as TCL, Python or
similar
- Strong background in SQL
- Web application and test automation experience with tools such as
Telerik, Watin or similar.
- Understanding of servers and networks
- Ability to create test automation framework from the ground up
- Experience in creating test specifications, test cases, documents
from scratch
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
- Experience with code review and code coverage a plus
- Experience in developing test harnesses and automating test suites
for validating QA builds
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent
