Job Description: Client is looking for an experienced MicroStrategy Developer who will be responsible for delivering large and medium-scale reporting projects using MicroStrategy Business Intelligence suite including MicroStrategy Intelligence Server, Web, Narrowcast Server and Desktop; deliver and support high-quality analytical reports; analysis, development, review and maintenance of data models, including dimensional, star and snowflake schemas; analyze existing business process and identify areas for improvement; maintain up-to-date knowledge of business intelligence tools, technology and concept development; mentor team members on advanced skill sets; anticipate and resolve data definition and integration issues with cross-functional groups.

 

 

- Strong experience in creating multiple data warehouses

- Strong front-end and back-end experience with Microstrategy software

- BI Solutions experience using the Microstrategy platform

- Very familiar with Microstrategy version 9v, including Desktop, I-Server, Project Merge, Narrowcast Server, and Web-Server.

- Must be able to architect and re-architect existing MS models

- Very experienced with OLAP ad-hoc reports using Microstrategy Desktop.

- Experienced in implementing Dynamic Cube Technology interfacing with multiple databases.

- Extremely familiar with Microstrategy DSS objects.

- Experience with Microstrategy Administration:  Installation, Configuration, Troubleshooting on-going management and support.

- Very experienced with maintain and support Microstrategy reports to facilitate automatic scheduled processing using Microstrategy Narrowcast.

- Excellent analytical skills to translate business requirements into system design.

- Familiar with all aspects of Data Definition scripts and Data Manipulation scripts.

 

Previous experience in Financial Industry is desirable but not a must.
